been spending a lot of time in the studio and taking
many trips to the post office.
the ladies that work there are always so kind to me.
other than working lots we had our first racket ball
record club meeting which included discussion of recent
shows and albums.
hopefully the next one will include a bike ride and snacks.
i also received a lovely gift from my friend benjamin
who found a book on the streets of montreal on
how to make moccasins.
its sitting on my work table next to many books
filled with drawings and notes.

first thing: i was informed that ellie from the lovely blog mint
has chosen my grandpa hankie to be featured as one
of her favourites on the website: the bright side!

second thing: i went and saw the tallest man on earth
last night at st. james hall and it was amazing.
i encourage you to go to the record store and buy his music.
i’m sure the show will be discussed at the racket ball record club
meeting, but that we will save for a whole other post.
third thing: i really enjoy picnics.
(an excursion or outing in which the participants
carry food with them and share a meal in the open air)

i finished an order of snack pouches
and bibs for the very lovely boutique in
squamish b.c. called agnes jean.
we ended up spending the morning there,
having a pic-nic with wild bunnies at our feet.
my friend shoko had told me about these bunnies
that just hang out in this little park so i had to check it
out, being the bunny lover that i am.
on the way back we tried to look for dolphins that have been spotted.
my two and a half year old niece pretty much
summed up the morning when she said on the car ride home
“bunnies,dolphins aaannnddd food, nice.”

my clothespin pouch was featured in this months
issue of pregnancy and newborn magazine!
i’ve been really busy in the studio lately and its been so
nice to hear all the sweet feedback about my new baby stuff.
i’ve just finished a little drool kerchief design made out
of a lovely flannel. i just tried it on my niece and she looked super cute.
hope to have them in my shop by the end of next week.
i’ve also updated my website adding a new page with some new photos.
now back to printing and sewing..
